We are in the midst of getting our summer camp guide put together at work and discovered that we needed some shots of a few coaching staff to include in the publication. Given how little time we had I quickly volunteered to meet with the coaches to take some shots. Nigel is our soccer camps coordinator and this will be his second year in the role. I’m very excited to be working with him again! Joe and Tristan are the coaches for our strength and conditioning teams here at UBC, and are running brand new camps for summer 2016. Nonetheless, here are a few pics from my quick photoshoot with Nigel, Joe, and Tristan!
I’ve heard that Tower Beach at UBC is a nice, quiet spot to check out, but I had no idea just how beautiful it would be! We weren’t really dressed appropriately given the weather, and definitely didn’t have the right shoes on to be trekking through the trails and along the slippery rocky beach, but it was worth it! In case you aren’t sure where to locate Tower Beach, check out the map below.
Hey Vancouver! As I am slowly getting things up and running with my website I am looking for friends, family, or acquaintances to do a photoshoot with. This will merely give me the opportunity to fine-tune my skills a little further before I start booking official appointments. If you are interested send me an email and we can hopefully find a time that works (usually on weekends)!
As always I spent some time in Fredericton, NB over the holidays so I could visit friends and reminisce about my university days. A close friend was playing in an ultimate frisbee tournament on campus, so I decided it would be a great opportunity to practice my skills at capturing some action-shots. The lighting in the facility was quite dim, so I was forced to turn my ISO up (which I generally don’t like to do), but I was left with no other option. Nonetheless, I’m satisfied with the result!
